PM Justin Trudeau: Enough is enough. Go home and stay home.
On March 23, 2020, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shared an update on Canada’s measures to further prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country. He stressed the importance of social distancing or physical distancing in order to stop or at least slow down the spread of the disease.
To date, Canadian residents are no longer allowed to leave their homes other than for essential purposes. These include shopping for groceries, medicine and seeking medical care.
The Canadian government will also roll out advertising campaigns in order to keep everyone informed. According to Trudeau, “listening is [the residents’] duty, and staying home is [their] way to serve.” No one is no longer excused of being uninformed of the governments’ announcements and directives.
Let’s all take part and support the government’s call for action. During this very challenging time, let us look after one another. By staying at home, you’re not only protecting yourself from coronavirus, but also the people around you.
You all think you’re invincible. You’re not. Enough is enough. Go home and stay home.
